Price Indian middle class is paying for Pappu's dreams

JFK once said "Its not what your country has given to you but what you have given to the country". I was wondering what this country has given to me, the Indian middle class. Is it the fear of getting mauled in a riot, fear of getting bombed, fear of losing seat to reservation, corruption, inflation, bad roads, apathetik law and order, fucked up judicial system...What has this country given to me for which i should be thankful of. I am not a bitter old man cribbing about the life Greeks have, i am just introspecting what this country has given to the middle class.
India's fiscal deficit is rising against an abnormally high inflation thereby leading to unprecedented interest rates. Why because the UPA has to come back to power at all costs. Pappu, our great Clown Prince cannot let go of his destiny, he is destined to be a PM. What is the price we have paid for Pappu's dreams? UPA's flagship scheme the NREGA is an embarassement. It has not created any asset yet the costs are unimaginable. Laborers who get paid Rs 120 per day and get a minimum of 100 days work for digging up a hole and refilling it are not creating any asset for which we the middle class is paying a fortune. Add to that massive corruption. The UPA will deny corruption like it denied Raja's role in 2G scam or Kalmadi's involvement in CWG shame, it will not accept any deviation in policy. Why, because it suits its plan, UPA knows the middle class is not a UPA voter, they have carved out their votebank which comprises of Muslims, Dalits and the lowest strata of the society. The lowest strata of the society depends on everything except WORK. The rich have it all, its their playground, they dont care about the govt's policy coz they can always twist them, the poor dont understand nor work because the government has not built any infrastructure for them to work with dignity.
Now look at the middle class, it is the Indian middle class that is driving this economy forward despite all the bottlenecks. Its a well known fact that people like Narayan Murthys flourished because the Govt. did not understand their business model, or else they would have taxed them to death early in their careers. no matter how many bombs have exploded, no matter how many riots have taken place, does not matter if the most wanted is on the loose you can count on the 9-5 work slaves to go out and do their Karma. The belief in Karm Karo is inherent in the indian culture and this is what drives this country. Pranab Mukherjee will not reduce taxes on petrol coz the indian middle class gives him the money to BUY power. Its the hard earned money of the Indian middle class that the UPA govt. is shamefully distributing to retain POWER.
I am not an anti-poor crusader, but dont tell me Indian Govt. cannot build infrastructures that benefit both the poor and the middle class and profit the RICH. The political will to do whats good for the nation has never been the central theme of any of the Congress Governments. They have always tried to do things which help them or their leaders. Jawahar Lal Nehru's desperation to become a world renowned statesman made him err on Kashmir. Indira Gandhi's thirst of power and megalomania made us a socialist fuckup. Now Sonia Gandhi and her Pappu are on the same track. Look at Pappu's track record. He has already under the guidance of Digvijay Singh's who should be awarded India's most eleigible asshole ever started behaving like shameless politician. A few days back union ministers Janardhan Trivedi and the other fucktard where seen kicking and punching the samajwadi party workers who to the utter surprise of congressmen had the balls to raise black flag to a crown prince not to mention Digvijay Singh's earlier manhandling incident of a protester. Later that day a more than ever arrogant Manish Tiwari justifies the act of violence as they were provocated. Bow down to the hypocrisy of Congress and let them chose the path of violence and AHIMSA whenever it suits them. Taaliyan logon Taaliyan.
I the middle class cannot do anything, coz this govt. does not work for me, my future, it cares for its own survival and for that it depends on the poorest of the poor. The poorest of poor vote on a Rs 100 note and the local wine. So if you ask me what this country has given to me, i will say FEAR.
